Re: Hello and A Question

Late to this "party" to say Hello, welcome back Bobby.

For sharing video:-

...with one or two people I use USB pen drives as Chuck does or DVD. To share more widely I put them on my NAS so it can be accessed over the internet. Otherwise it is Vimeo.

Re: Portrait Professional Studio

I agree RJ. It is a useful tool to have.

Sometimes when I use it I take the effects to extremes - it often amuses and/or scares the life out of the owners of the faces that I use it on (grin).

Re: Import and Media Encoder

I have never seen this so regret that I am at a loss as to what might be causing it other than a rather vague guess that it may be connected to project settings(?). :(

Re: HLG - Hybrid Log Gamma

No way Mr. B will spring for a 4k TV while our current HD model still breathes... but the way I see 4ks in shopping carts makes me believe the public will want higher def content. Maybe the reason that you see shopping carts laden with 4K TVs is because the supply of standard HD TVs is rapidly dimi...

But then you'd need another 10K to drop on a new computer to edit the media.

...and then there's the cost of that SSD array that you will need to store all of that 8k data whilst you edit it.

Re: Alternative to ImgBurn

Only five minutes????

Usain Bolt could give me a ninety five metre head start in a one hundred metre sprint and he would still catch me before the finish line. :(

I quote from the creator of ImgBurn:- "It isn’t bundled with anything. You might be offered something from a 3rd party (within the installation wizard and handled by a 3rd party plugin) if you download from the ImgBurn mirror site, but the other mirrors offer 100% clean versions." That's w...
